Use less energy when doing laundry

If you use pre-treated mops, these must be washed and dried regularly. Once clean, the mops must be treated again, so that the cleaning team can start their tasks as planned. This process takes a lot of energy, and it takes a lot of planning to ensure everyone can get off to a smooth start. There's got to be scope for improvement here, right?
