Sustainable cleaning: every drop counts
Water is essential to life on Earth and lies at the heart of the cleaning process. For World Water Day, BOMA, a pioneer in the cleaning sector, is committed to sharing its water wisdom. Our actions aim to reduce water consumption and promote healthy water cycles. With an approach based on the R model¿-¿Refuse, Reduce and Reuse¿-¿BOMA aims to promote more sustainable water management in the cleaning sector
Refuse: Choose environmentally friendly products
Refuse to use products that pollute the environment, and instead opt for our Synbio and Probio product lines. These cleaning products are not only environmentally friendly, they also actively enrich the water and natural microbial balance after use. By choosing these products, we support water purification and help preserve a healthy ecosystem.
Reduce: Water-saving innovation
At BOMA, we reduce water consumption by investing in innovative technologies. Lionsbot LeoScrub and R3 robots, along with the i-Mop, significantly reduce water usage without compromising cleaning quality. These machines are designed to combine efficiency and sustainability, thus delivering greater impact with fewer resources. Installing sensor-activated faucets in restrooms also supports this goal by cutting water consumption by over 80%.
Reuse: Maximize reusability
Purifying and reusing cleaning water is now possible with a Re-Water washing machine. This leads to significant water savings (up to 53,000 liters per year) and shows how BOMA promotes innovation in order to protect valuable resources.
React: Commitment and action
In addition to our focus on Refuse, Reduce, and Reuse, BOMA also participates in initiatives that take direct action, such as River Cleanup. Local cleanups and raising awareness about waste prevention are at the heart of this organization's mission. We not only encourage our employees to get involved, but also offer our customers the opportunity to make a positive difference with us.
By working with organizations such as Made Blue, we help provide clean drinking water in developing countries: one liter for every liter saved using the i-mop. Together with our customers, we've already provided over 25 million liters of drinking water to those who need it most, and this figure is rising every year.
In our quest for a more sustainable future, every step counts, whether it's choosing the right products or using technology more wisely. On this World Water Day, we're not only reflecting on the importance of water, but also on our commitment to real action that creates change. Let's recognize the value of every drop and protect it together.
